Chilgrove Dry Gin. Above all, the very first and only English gin ever to be made using a base alcohol distilled from grapes. A widely known fact is that English gin has its roots in 16th Century Holland, derived from the Juniper-based drink Jenever. The fact that Jenever was originally made using alcohol distilled from wine is lesser known.
Founded by husband and wife team Christopher and Celia. Chilgrove Dry Gin launched in 2017. Followed by ‘Chilgrove Vodka’ a year later. Most recently the ground-breaking ‘ Bluewater Edition Gin’. Consequently their first ‘Ultra-Premium’ spirit.
