Tarquin’s The Seadog Navy Strength Gin is bottled at 57% volume. The strength at which gunpowder would still ignite if accidentally soaked in gin during battle. Big, bold and beautifully balanced. An initial hit of warm, earthy spice with a crisp juniper backbone. Fragrant coriander and rich cinnamon follow, with a bright hit of zesty orange sherbet to round everything off.
Botanicals include Juniper from Kosovo, Coriander Seed from Bulgaria and Liquorice Root from Uzbekistan. Also Angelica Root from Poland, Orris Root from Morocco and Green Cardamom from Guatemala. In contrast, Cinnamon from Madagascar and Bitter Almonds from Morocco. Finally, fresh Orange, Lemon and Grapefruit peel and Violets from Devon.
